Weekly Plan for Distance learning:
Spring 2: Knowledge Organiser
In Maths we will identify how many objects are in a set by counting. We will be using 1:1 correspondence.
We will begin to represent numbers using fingers, marks on paper or pictures, matching numeral and quantity correctly. We will also compare two groups of objects, saying when they have the same number. and separate a group of three or four objects in different ways, beginning to recognise that the total is still the same.
the children will continue to learn about shapes in their environment and use shapes in different ways to construct and draw. We will be practising everyday positional language such as 'in', 'on', 'under' and 'behind'. We will also be learning about shapes of everyday objects using the language of 'round' and 'tall' for example and extending by using the language of 'tall', 'taller', and 'tallest'.
